Exabeam partners with CSE Connect to enhance UK cybersecurity education
06 March 2025
Exabeam has joined forces with CSE Connect, a national cybersecurity education network aimed at providing advanced cybersecurity education to students across the UK.
This collaboration will facilitate engaging lectures and interactive Exabeam Capture the Flag (CTF) exercises designed to nurture cybersecurity talent, raise awareness, and address the critical skills gap in the industry.
Exabeam will provide students with valuable insights into modern security operations platforms emphasizing innovative threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) capabilities. By leveraging the Exabeam New-Scale Security Operations Platform, students will gain hands-on experience through CTF exercises, which simulate real-world scenarios involving the identification and mitigation of modern threats using AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.
“Collaborative innovation between education and technology is key to tackling the ever-evolving threat landscape. As threats become increasingly complex and targeted, investing in the next generation of cybersecurity talent is essential,” said Kev Eley, Vice President for the UK & Ireland at Exabeam. “Our partnership with CSE Connect is focused on nurturing skills, inspiring innovation, and enhancing the accessibility of cybersecurity education in the UK, with the ultimate goal of strengthening national security.”
CSE Connect, supported by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), fosters collaboration among government, industry, and academic institutions to inspire current and future generations of cybersecurity professionals. The network’s mission is to connect the cyber education community while advocating for innovative approaches to enhancing cybersecurity education in the UK through events and community problem-solving initiatives.
“Strong collaborative partnerships between industry and academia are essential for advancing cybersecurity education. They help bridge skills gaps, align graduate competencies with the needs of employers, and ultimately bolster our national cybersecurity capabilities,” said Charles Clarke, Co-Founder of CSE Connect. “We are excited to collaborate with Exabeam and look forward to expanding the scope of cybersecurity education through their innovative Capture the Flag platform.”
