The Avocent® ACS 8000 serial console server from Vertiv™ is the ultimate IoT gateway providing more power, connectivity and makes serial interfaces IoT-capable.

The Avocent® ACS 8000 serial console server combines proven features for secure and reliable in-band and out-of-band access to manage, monitor and troubleshoot servers, routers, network switches, firewalls, UPS and PDUs with the new security requirements of the Internet of Things.

It allows IT administrators to also connect environmental sensors in the data centre or at the network Edge.
