CPS partners with Exponential-e to enhance digital infrastructure and security

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has chosen Exponential-e to provide reliable internet connectivity across 30 sites in England and Wales, supporting its move toward a flexible, user-centric, zero-trust digital environment. This partnership forms a key part of the CPS Strategy to strengthen its digital capabilities, secure sensitive data, and maximize its digital potential.

Exponential-e’s connectivity solutions are delivering resilient and consistent internet access, enabling CPS to smoothly transition to GovWifi. This transition has facilitated greater collaboration across government agencies, allowing shared working arrangements with organizations such as the police and His Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS). As a result, CPS staff across multiple locations now enjoy secure, reliable access to digital services, ensuring a unified approach to operations across courts and shared facilities with other public service providers.

As the CPS continues to invest in its digital transformation, the partnership with Exponential-e is set to enhance operational efficiency through a secure and robust infrastructure that supports the work of its 8,000 skilled staff members.

Afshin Attari, Director of Public Sector and Unified Platforms at Exponential-e, highlighted the importance of this initiative. “The CPS is at the heart of our Criminal Justice System and is evolving to meet the rapidly changing landscape of crime,” he said. “We recognize the vital role that strong connectivity plays in modern public sector organizations. Our internet solution will enable CPS teams to work more effectively, ensuring seamless and secure access to their critical systems and data. We’re proud to support the CPS as they build a modern, flexible IT infrastructure that unlocks the full value of their digital environment.”
