Carnival Internet UK and Community TechAid to promote sustainability

04 July 2025

Carnival Internet UK, launched in May 2025 and backed by Dotlines UK, has announced a partnership with Brixton-based charity Community TechAid. The collaboration aims to address digital exclusion and reduce e-waste by supporting initiatives that repair and redistribute technology to those in need.

As part of its social responsibility efforts, Carnival Internet donates 1% of its customers’ bills to charitable causes. Through this partnership, the ISP will bolster Community TechAid’s work by providing fundraising support, device donations, sponsorships, and employee volunteering opportunities, helping the charity expand its reach in providing essential digital resources.

“This partnership with Community TechAid aligns with our goal to ensure digital access is a right, not a privilege. By donating a percentage of our customers’ bills, we support the repurposing of devices for those who need them most — and demonstrate our commitment to sustainable, socially responsible business practices from day one,” said Olly Sedden, Director of Product, Commercial and Marketing at Dotlines UK.

This initiative exemplifies how new digital service providers are integrating social impact into their business models, fostering inclusivity and environmental sustainability simultaneously.
