NetApp has announced that Sonya Mathieu has joined as its new channel lead, UK & Ireland.

Sonya joins NetApp from her role as UK director leading data protection and cyber resistance for Dell Technologies UK&I. At NetApp, Sonya will lead the channel for the UK&I business, supporting partners as the organisation continues its transformation as a hybrid cloud leader in the UK&I market. Sonya will report to Piero Gallucci, the recently appointed UK vice president and general manager, UK & Ireland.

The UK market, which NetApp entered 25 years ago, is now the largest cloud market in Europe. The UK leadership team, in which Sonya will play a key role, will build on this foundation to drive the company's UK transformation to establish NetApp as a leading provider of multi-cloud solutions, hybrid cloud storage, and cloud data services.
