Wavenet has announced a strategic partnership with 8×8 to deliver innovative enterprise communication solutions across Europe.

This collaboration follows Wavenet’s recent recognition as the 8×8 EMEA Resell Partner of the Year 2025 and the 8×8 EMEA Contact Centre Partner of the Year 2025, underscoring their shared commitment to excellence and customer-centric service.

Under this partnership, Wavenet will offer the 8×8 Platform for customer experience (CX) in multiple European markets. The portfolio includes a range of services such as 8×8 Voice for Microsoft Teams, unified communications, Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), and the 8×8 Contact Centre solution. Wavenet has made significant investments in its workforce, infrastructure, and certifications to support organisations in modernising their communication systems, streamlining operations, and deploying AI-powered customer engagement tools.

Barry Ward, Director of Contact Centre, Mobile, and Unified Communications solutions at Wavenet, described the partnership as a “world-first” and a major step forward for their clients. He emphasised that working closely with 8×8 provides a unique opportunity to transform business communication, especially for companies upgrading from legacy systems and seeking to improve both customer and staff experiences. The partnership aims to help organisations adapt to digital transformation by providing tools that enhance internal collaboration and customer engagement through modernised platforms.

Emily Masterton, Head of Channel EMEA at 8×8, praised Wavenet’s dedication to innovation and customer success, highlighting that the collaboration underscores Wavenet’s leadership in enterprise communications. She noted that achieving the status of 8×8’s first strategic partner of this kind demonstrates Wavenet’s influence and expertise in shaping the future of business communication solutions.

The partnership is focused on delivering secure, scalable, and intelligent communication services that leverage the strengths of both companies. Wavenet’s experience in managed services, security, and compliance complements 8×8’s comprehensive platform, which offers unified communications, calling, meetings, and customer engagement tools integrated with business applications. The goal is to support enterprises in transitioning from traditional telephony and contact centre systems to advanced, multi-channel digital tools suited for today’s hybrid and remote work environments.

Both organisations recognise that the evolving digital workplace demands flexible, robust, and secure communication systems. This alliance aims to equip businesses with the tools necessary to meet current and future workforce needs while enhancing customer experience through innovative, adaptable solutions.
