Viatel Technology Group, Ireland’s leading provider of networking, cybersecurity, and Microsoft solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Highlight to deploy its award-winning Service Observability Platform across the company’s operations and customer base.

This move aims to streamline network monitoring, improve service management, and deliver enhanced transparency and insights into network health for both internal teams and clients.

The initial deployment will focus on monitoring Viatel’s Cisco Meraki SD-WAN and Orion Autofailover services. The company is consolidating its service management tools following its recent acquisitions, which had led to the use of multiple systems across different technology teams. Once fully implemented, over 100 Viatel engineers will utilize Highlight’s platform to manage network performance more efficiently and cohesively, reducing complexity and enabling proactive issue resolution.

In addition to internal use, Viatel plans to embed Highlight within its managed service offerings, providing customers with intuitive dashboards and automated reporting tools. This initiative underscores Viatel’s commitment to increasing customer satisfaction through greater transparency, clear performance insights, and a more seamless service experience.

“Viatel’s mission is to deliver market-leading customer experience through innovation, clarity, and trust. Our partnership with Highlight is a strategic step in that journey, giving our teams and our customers a unified, real-time view of their SD-WAN network performance. By simplifying complexity and enhancing transparency, we’re not just improving how we manage networks — we’re raising the bar for what our customers can expect from their managed service provider,” said Damien McCann, Chief Commercial Officer at Viatel.

“I’ve admired Highlight’s ability to deliver unified network observability at scale for years. Integrating it into our solutions is a major step forward. It provides visibility across all networks and technology services, enabling faster response times and proactive management. The single-pane-of-glass approach allows our engineers to investigate issues safely without impacting live services,” said Conor Healy, Customer Success Manager at Viatel. “Highlight’s automated reporting reduces the time spent gathering and analyzing data from multiple tools. This will lead to more frequent, focused, and transparent reviews with our customers. As many clients reduce their on-site IT presence, Highlight’s graphical tools offer full visibility into the services they receive, building trust and supporting stronger relationships — ensuring there are no surprises during contract renewals.”

This partnership exemplifies Viatel’s ongoing investment in innovative, customer-centric solutions, reinforcing its position as a leader in managed connectivity and digital transformation services.
