The release expands customer choice with six new hypervisor platforms, extends malware scanning to NAS and enhances cloud threat detection, and adds deeper enterprise application protection for EPIC EHR, Db2 for Windows and Oracle, helping organizations keep business running when disruption hits and restore from trusted restore points.

- Hypervisor Support Across Six New Platforms: Veeam Data Platform expands hypervisor coverage with out-of-the-box support for six new platforms: Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, Sangfor aSV, XCP-ng, Citrix XenServer, VergeIO and Platform9. This brings Veeam to 14 total supported hypervisors, with more coming soon through the Universal Hypervisor API, helping customers protect new platforms on day one and respond quickly to modernization initiatives and VMware pricing pressure.
