PXC has launched CityFibre Ethernet Flex, expanding its CityFibre business connectivity offering and giving partners even greater choice across the UK’s largest independent full‑fibre network.

This launch follows the successful introduction of CityFibre Business FTTP last year which, announced today, is now available to PXC partners across CityFibre’s full nationwide footprint, covering over 4.7m premises.

CityFibre Ethernet Flex offers symmetrical speeds with a guaranteed 200Mbps minimum throughput and the ability to burst up to 1Gb. Ideal for SMBs, this latest addition to PXC’s EoFTTP portfolio brings agility to customers looking for reliable gigabit‑capable connectivity at more cost-effective price point.

The newly unlocked Business FTTP footprint gives PXC’s partners unprecedented access to CityFibre’s modern, high-capacity, XGS-PON infrastructure which will reach more than 8 million premises across the UK.

These launches deepen PXC’s longstanding partnership with CityFibre, expanding partner choice with real-time availability checking, efficient ordering and lifecycle management through a single integration, contract and SLA.

Jenny Harrison, chief commercial officer, PXC, said: “Expanding our CityFibre portfolio with Ethernet Flex and broadening the footprint for Business FTTP brings even more choice to our partners, allowing them to deliver high‑performance connectivity for businesses of all sizes. This builds on the success of our long-standing relationship with CityFibre and reinforces our commitment to providing futureproof, high‑quality connectivity solutions across the UK.”

George Wareing, CityFibre’s chief commercial officer, said: “PXC is bringing our Ethernet Flex product to even more small and medium-sized businesses, enabling access to a guaranteed, high-quality connection whenever they need it, at a price with an eye on a bottom line. CityFibre’s digital infrastructure is meeting the needs of businesses throughout the UK, from business grade FTTP broadband to tailored and flexible Ethernet options, unlocking growth and innovation nationwide.”
