Synology, based in Taipei, Taiwan, brings to market its DiskStation DS918+.

The product is said to be more powerful than most NAS drives in its ballpark. It comes with more memory, a faster processor, as well as twice as many drive bays.

In short, it’s been described as “a perfect fit for the serious NAS user”.

Synology’s bundled software is, apparently, capable and straightforward to use.

Furthermore, drives can be fitted and removed with ease.
