Neos Networks, one of the UK’s leading providers of business connectivity, has strengthened its longstanding partnership with Zen Internet, the UK’s largest B Corp-certified telecoms provider, through a major upgrade to a 400Gbps fibre connection between Manchester and London.
This high-capacity corridor addresses the UK’s escalating bandwidth needs driven by increased data centre investments, AI adoption, and the rollout of full fibre networks nationwide.
The upgraded link is delivered over Neos Networks’ extensive fibre infrastructure, ensuring Zen’s core network is future-proofed for the demands ahead. In addition to the Manchester-London connection, Zen benefits from Neos’s enhanced core and exchange-backhaul services, which are vital for delivering ultrafast, resilient connectivity. These investments align with Zen’s goal to expand high-quality fibre access to more UK businesses and consumers, supporting the nation’s digital growth.
David Bruce, CRO of Neos Networks, highlighted the importance of advanced fibre infrastructure in supporting the UK’s AI initiatives. Earlier this year, Zen launched its Fibre Hub platform to improve access to nationwide connectivity by aggregating services from multiple alternative networks across the UK.
