Cogent Distribution Ltd, a trusted value-added distributor of high-performance wireless solutions, has announced an exciting new portfolio addition with RADWIN’s cutting-edge 60GHz mmWave TerraNet solution.

The TerraNet Series of point-to-multipoint and point-to-point 60GHz radios provide up to 2.3Gbps throughput with full V-band support of 57-71GHz (Channels 1-6) in line with Ofcom regulations.

RADWIN’s TerraNet is a powerful addition to Cogent Distribution’s wireless offering, delivering secure, ultra-fast, low-latency gigabit connectivity over short distances of up to 1km using the 60GHz band, perfect for high-density urban environments, last-mile access, and enterprise networking.

“RADWIN is proud to collaborate with Cogent Distribution in bringing the TerraNet Series, including the V120 and V40 products, to market,” said Yaron Ziv, RADWIN’s Managing Director Europe & the Middle East. “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to deliver innovative wireless solutions that address the growing demand for high-speed, reliable connectivity. By integrating RADWIN’s cutting-edge technology into their portfolio, Cogent Distribution is empowering their customers with robust solutions for seamless and efficient deployment. Together, we are driving the future of wireless communication forward.”

“As we enter the third year of our successful master distributorship with RADWIN, we’re much looking forward to continuing to work closely together as RADWIN develops their product line, bringing more best-in-class connectivity solutions to market,” said Jim Kernahan, Managing Director at Cogent Distribution.

The 60GHz TerraNet solution from RADWIN enables seamless performance even in crowded spectrum environments and provides vital gigabit services to improve urban security, expand rural Wi-Fi availability, and enhance gigabit backhaul infrastructure. Alongside this innovative product, RADWIN offers a comprehensive suite of tools, including the WIN Plan radio planning tool and WIN Manage software for seamless network management. These tools ensure optimal performance and efficient deployment, making TerraNet a game-changer in wireless connectivity.

Other key benefits of TerraNet:
• Supports an extended frequency range 57-71GHz (Channels 1-6);
• A single hardware can be configured as a Base Station or Client;
• Advanced security with AES+GCMP 128 bit encryption;
• Sophisticated beamforming antenna with auto-alignment;
• Complies to ETSI-CE and is manufactured within the EU.
